Betty Billingsley moved to Horry County with her family when she was nine years old. She was a junior varsity and varsity cheerleader at Conway High School, where she graduated in 1984. Her strong desire to help others led her to earn an Associate degree in Human Services from Horry Georgetown Technical College.
After spending 15 years in the vacation ownership industry, Betty joined Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers in August 2020. She initially coordinated Jury Research Focus Groups and has since become a paralegal focused on preparing demands to send insurance companies. After a client completes treatment, Betty works closely with the firm’s attorneys to prepare pre-litigation demand packages and ensures every necessary element is included. One of the many things that attracted Betty to Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers is the firm’s philosophy that all clients will be treated like family.
Betty is passionate about people, enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, going to the beach, traveling, and taking road trips to explore and seek out new adventures.
